Undying's �Remasterized� ES Lighter Energy Sorc Guide

1. Introduction

This guide is the exact replic of my new ES Lighter which I built last week �Remasterized�. After experimentating with the first one of it's kind, �Drumz�, I sadly realized that I had missed up with the telekinesis skill and that I had to remake her as she reached the level 91 So I came out with a brand new tactic, kept the same whole gear... and changed the skill setup. This char is meant to be the most versatile possible... An awesome baaler, a nice chaoser... and yeah; a great PvPer. By following this guide, you should learn how to be a tanking machine... weak sorces were in the past!

2. Overview

With the following item/skill setup, your lighter will - according to me - be much more effective than a simple vita lighter... Doing a lower damage, but giving your sorceress an incredible capacity to tank... If we calculate it well, in my case... Her life/mana count is as effective as if she had 6.3k life straight
(4k mana x 1.25 = 5k life from mana (maxed telek) + 1.3k life) You will also be able to achieve a decent lightning skill damage, way enough to easy everything in all diffs and solo 8 player games...

With this build you will be able to:

Reach the 117fcr frame or more
Reach the 86fhr frame
Achieve a decent lightning damage; depending on the gear that you'll be using
Reach capped resists in hell... At least... +30 or even more; also depending on gear
Be an incredible tank with a high mana count
Reach 85-95% absorb from Energy Shield
Baal, chaos, rush... Ez anything that's moving in PvP; Lighter's are also based on the player's skills.... so you may need some practice

3. Skill distribution

Cold

1 Frozen Armor
1 Ice Blast
1 Shiver Armor

Fire

1 Warmth

Lightning

20 Telekinesis
20 Lightning
20 Lightning Mastery
20 Chain Lightning
20 Charged Bolt
1 Nova
1 Thunder Storm
1 Static Field
1 Energy Shield

In that order to max: Telek icon_pointr.gif Lightning icon_pointr.gif Mastery icon_pointr.gif Chain icon_pointr.gif Charged Bolt icon_pointr.gif End with Nova or Energy Shield if you got any skills left.... which leaves you at a really high level... And depending if you prebuff or not, your absorb % may vary between 85 and 95%

Why maxing telekinesis instead of getting 45k+ Lightning damage? Simple... If you forget it - like I did the first time - Your ES will use 2 mana points for every single 1 point of damage you receive... 3. Stats distribution

Strenght: Enough to reach 156 after items... Mine has base + 23; this will depend pretty much on your gear tho
Dex: Base
Vita: Base!
Energy: The rest here... so, 500+

Fcr needed 117: 20+10+40+35+20 =125 for me ( Hoto, spirit, arach, fcr ring, circlet )
Fhr needed 86 : 20+12+55 = 87 for me ( Spirit, treks, 12fhr skiller)

Make those as you like... you only have to achieve those frames... gamble with the numbers

1. Griffon's Eye Diadem / Shako / 3-20-2 Light Circlet / 2-20-2 Sorc Circlet / Any nice rare circlet that has the right mods icon_pointr.gif Light faceted or socketed with stats/res jewels... Can help alot... and save you points for energy

2. Rare +2 Light / 20 fcr / 29 str / 10 all res / 5 mana after kill / 1 os / 5-5 die faceted circlet icon_pointr.gif And the 29 strenght is very helpful.

Ammy

1. Any nice craft/rare with stats/life/mana/res (fcr isn't needed... you can get that 117 easily) or Maras
2. 28 Maras icon_pointr.gif Quite easy

Weapon

1. Perfect light eschutas / HotO / Wizardspike icon_pointr.gif Depending on your needs... Wizzy would be my 3rd choice.
2. Perfect flail HotO icon_pointr.gif Resists/3 Skills/Max Mana %... Very useful

Weapon switch

1. Cta/9es Memory Both are most likely needed
2. 6 BO CS Cta / 9 es eth memory staff

Armor

1. Up'd Vipermagi Most likely umed if you want to reach max resists as explained earlier
CoH 2 skills/DR/Resists... dusk or gothic plate is a MUST since you won't get enough strenght for AP unless you are using an incredible ammy/dual fcr-str rings
3es ormus to prebuff

2. Gothic plate CoH / 3 ES Ormus

Shield / Switch

1. Spirit Monarch / SS By using Storm Shield... you'd have to gamble with the build a little... and use max block ofc.
2. 35fcr Spirit / 30fcr Spirit

Gloves

1. Frostburns 20% Max Mana... Magefists aren't needed
2. Perf frostburns

Rings

1. SoJ / Fcr str/life/*mana*/res rare/crafted ring BK's have nothing to shit in this build... SoJ's will provide you a way better amount of mana
2. SoJ / 10fcr-17str-70 mana-24fr-14pr rare ring

Belt

1. Arachnid / Verdungo / Crafted fhr/str/fcr belt I'd vote for arach... +1 skill / 5% max mana / 20 fcr... ezpk
2. 117ed Arach

Boots

1. Treks / Wartravs / Rares 10fhr/30frw/tri resists+
2. Perf Non eth treks 15 strenght / Vita / PR

5. Charms

1. Torch / Anni / 9x various skillers / Life-Mana sc's You can easily reach the fhr bp by adding 12fhr to your count with a single skiller

32, 32, 33, 33, 37, 37, 38, Fhr, 6 dex Light Skillers Don't ask me why 6 dex... It came like that

6. Last step... the merc

Quite simple... Infinity runeword is a must... The only thing that you got to decide is if you want him to do damage or not... Mines personally using a low damage coulge cause I like to chaos/baal and IM curse is a bitch Use either a nm def merc for the freeze or a hell combat merc for the prayer

And those just in view to reduce the damage dealt from IM... He can tank still when cursed.
