You don't need to add any str, but of course, enough to use gear.
Vit. i have 941 life and I went minimal vitality. You will only be able to take 1 or 2 hits for the most part.
Dexterity- i pumped the hell out of this. More dex = more damage
Play style.
This build is much different from my other Glass cannon build. This build relies less on run/walk speed and more on teleporting.
With this setup you will have 50fcr when using bow and you will meet the 14fps tele cast rate. Pressing "W" you will have 100fcr and will meet the 12frames cast rate.
You will have 25%-50% open wounds at all times. (this is very sexy)
Keep at a safe distance, shoot like hell. press "W" for temporary resists, boosted open wounds (umed wizzy + draculs), not to mention teleport cost a lot for a zon.
Dueling style is very similar to bone necro's.
You are not a tank, you are a glass cannon. Avoid damage by teleporting and passives. You will dish out damage, but you will not be able to take it.
vs. sorcs. keep moving out ouf their casts. Shoot when you can. Strafe helps here and so does multi. Some sorcs like to get close that's when you start using strafe. moving out of their area damage between shots.
vs. necro if they got summons.. multi the summons until they are dead. then you can use ga if they are off screen or use strafe if they are on screen.
bone prison= you got a problem =) try to kill the necro not the bone prison. Most necro's will be spamming spear or spirit, so hope your passives kick in.
vs. druids elemental druid: same deal as necros.. get rid of the summons as fast as you can then try to take them out quick w. guided or strafe
vs. assassins traps: keep your distance and try to snipe them
ww sin: same thing
if they mindblast you.. keep on pressing "w" to weapon switch, this will get you out of stun and just keep on moving
vs. barbs keep your distance they should be able to tank quite a few hits. this is good and bad. A lot of barbs will try to ww you like mad. Try to anticipate where they are going, move out of the way. shoot like crazy!
vs. paladins Charge >tele the hell away and snipe them, and repeat.
hammerdins: just move out of hammer range, shoot. They will try to tele on you, but you can anticipate how they tele and their timing. most will try to tele, then 2-3 hammers, then tele again. just move down and shoot. Hammers spawn from the top of the hammerdin.
vs zons. bowzons: when they move you shoot, when they stop, you move. obviously they're shooting if they've stopped. So just do the opposite.
cs: they try to get close and poke you. Stay out of their range. Even lightning fury is limited. And just shoot them from out of their range.
Discussion.
valk and decoy are basically meat shields: they give you a pretty good indication where iga's( invisible guided) are coming from. And they buy you a little bit of time to kill someone before you are dead. I cast these all the time. Some people choose to not use these at all.
Alternate boots: gores, aldurs(has 50 life, fire resist, 40rw)
Alternate gear for GM duels: use trangs/magefist + dungo's or whatever belt you want.
