danieltabja: Hello, i restarted playing Diablo 2 when i started watching your videos like a couple months ago. 25 years since i played this game (when i was a kid played firewall sorceress/glacial orb) I was traumatized when reached hell as a kid and automatically thought it was impossible to win. A month ago i started playing and FINALLY I'am "Matriarch FirewallDan". (same build non meta i did as a kid, just maxing my firewall and glacial orb). Chapter V (for us who know nothing about the game) was almost imposible. Everything 1 hitted me. And does pesky 3 guardians before baal ... TRAUMA literally took me about 100 tries and full inventory of Full rejuvenation pots, trying to take 1 by one teleporting everywhere till my last pot literally. Cinema. 0 pots vs the jumper waiting for my mana to regen so i can cast a spell on him, took me about an hour.

It really felt like a life accomplishment.
Thanks for all the info. I couldn't have done it without this channel as chatgpt kept giving me wrong recipes and outdated ones. Failed 2 larsuks quests because the item that gpt told me to socket didnt have the level required or something like that.

I can now proudly say i won the game.
I will probably never play the post-endgame as my childhood dream was to beat Baal Hell. But i will keep enjoying this videos, and hopefully some day we get some kind of new content (even thou i don't need it because for me it's already one of those masterpieces that dont need to improve.

mathewbollington9569: You should have mentioned that expensive charged items for tele & lower res will be expensive to repair too. Also life tap charges are handy for melee builds and bosses.

Ferrindel: Correction about tip 1: It MIGHT be between one and six. Depending on the monster level it may have a lower max sockets. So for example a brandistock dropped in early normal would have 3 max sockets, whereas in nightmare or hell it will have 4 or 5 depending on monster lvl.

Walk into ancients, 2 are dead, but of course Talac is the cold immune and something like extra strong so literally 1 shotting everybody.

Basically had to solo him P8 while everyone stood around. Maybe took 20 mins, my friends would buy mana pots for me every time they died.
uSTAYFROSTY: Larzuk will always give the max number of sockets allowed for that weapon depending on its ilvl. If a Crystal sword is dropped in normal difficulty (Non-cows), it will always give 3 sockets.
Sentinello: Taking the spirit sword base a bit further, since you should never be melee attacking with it, you can go for an ethereal crystal sword, which potentially translates to a free extra five vitality until you need to equip something with a higher strength requirement. For me that’s usually not until I respec to equip a monarch for the 2nd spirit in shield.
robczar7479: That leap barb is a great support unit. Paladins running salvation and conviction allow the group to make those jumps to NM and hell easier as well. Holy freeze as well, that's a triple threat
johneubank8543: A lot of new players don't realize you can get a group very easily in ladder and level inSANEly fast. Sometimes way too fast. You gotta go back and grind to level up to be ok in NM or Hell sometimes. Baal runs are great ways, if you can get into Baal. Phil, you oughta break all this down for fairly new players. Or maybe you have.

c0ri: I think for the Teleport staff it's actually from level 18 (you can't use it until level 22 I think) but once you ding 18, drognan in Act 2 should also spawn them. Nice tips Phil! I didn't know about the Ancients trick and I've been playing this game since the early days. I did know the broadsword trick tho, and a bonus for that one is that it's durability is much better than the Crystal Sword = less repairs/gold. Take care buddy
