Abyss Warlock Could be the New Ladder Start GOAT, Build Guide and Showcase Diablo 2 Resurrected

crackensvideo: Authority Runeword has been my go to for Warlocks after Stealth. 20 FHR and 2 all skills is a nice early boost and pretty easy to farm since all the runes drop from NM Countess.
utmastuh: Can confirm, miasma chains abyss got me through the game on almost no gear. Beat all 3 difficulties day 1 with no farming. Now I can farm just about anything except tombs and baal round 2, which requires magic sunder or a decked out merc.

slimbonepickins7167: 2:30 I play on Xbox, and to me miasma chain is a bit clunky on controller (haven't tried chains post-patch so they could be better now) so I max miasma bolt 2nd and use that instead of chains and it works just fine.

That being said, I've found a good kind of progression for warlock. I run fire through normal, run leaf with a double tir tome, then once I get a spirit sword I put either a rhyme shield or book in my offhand and respec to abyss, I respecced around level 40 and its been super smooth all the way through so far.

gman4072: abyss tree is pretty much the only tree that allows you to go through the whole game without a sunder charm and you can also use bind demon with it...

lozangekitten-gamer7626: I am running a full abyss lock, and today, I just finished getting the whole Horazon set, and even traded my cold sunder for magic, and I renewed it with 23FHR, 11% Magic skill dmg, 52 mana, dmg reduction by 10, and 17% MF. I approve of the Abyss-lock... also made Hoto and found Gheed belt rolling average everywhere and -6% enemy magic res
calebburklund4298: I really like the razorswitch staff for the warlock. Its def not best in slot but with the res,life, cast rate and mana and being able to wield it with a book i like it more than spirit sword. Just makes farming in hell easy and relaxed
