Can I beat Diablo 2 as a Historically Accurate Druid?

  • Can I beat Diablo 2 as a Historically Accurate Druid? May 16 2026

avatar11792: I'm sensing some sarcasm about Act III...

Can't wait for an Historically Accurate Assassin build! Could go with the Hashshashin, or Ninjas!
smilelikeachow: That Historically Accurate Sorceress run gonna turn into a Backlogs 'Firebomb-Only' run.
grimblgrombl8623: Do a historically accurate barbarian next. Just a normal barb playthrough but narrated entirely in Scytho-Sarmatian.
WrynnCZ: Thank you! This is awesome.
You could probably use Tornado spell also, I found one legend about Celtic druid summoning storm over the sea to destroy fleet of ships on they way to make invasion.
JDog12345-j: Historically accurate would be having your Germanic army ambush the Prime Evils is the Teutoberg Forest.
    Cool video!
Crembaw: That grove better be sacred, or i aint coming to the function
    hellbentcentaur: Deckard Caine wasn’t pleased?
prion42: Sooo...falling meteors cause firestorms ...you would just be predicting where the firestorm is going to be....

Clocked that Goldeneye lobby music btw
deepelemblues8217: There were only two career paths for the Celtic nobility: being in the army (simultaneous with being in politics and administration), or becoming druids (also being in politics and administration, less openly).
osmium6832: 10:25 I appreciate that you went back and did the fight again with the same build after losing the footage. I also like the disclaimer so I don't get distracted with continuity differences. I think a lot of other channels would just skip to their next uncorrupted footage and say something along the lines of "oh well, you know what a Diablo fight looks like. Anyway, here I am at the ancients". Or they'd replace the footage with a completely different playthrough and not say as such, causing attentive viewers to wonder why the character's gear is different or why a rune or item drop is ignored later on.
SaturnineXTS: I kinda liked the archetype that Might and Magic 6 to 7 did with the Druid. A cross between a mage and a cleric, basically able to use both elemental and self magic, and specializing in alchemy -though it was not the smartest idea to cap it at master rather than grandmaster, given that druids got GM in meditation (mana pool enhancing skill), which neither mages nor clerics did.
KnicKnac: I like that there is always a link to D&D. Funny enough Diablo 2 got me into playing D&D many moons ago during the 3.5 era.
alejandrofalcon6323: Nice video, but druids asked for help to nature (and elements which was a part of all) before a figth, it was more common among the ones with influence from the vikings. So conjouring animals to figth is 100% accurate (this leaving the idea that some celtics tribes believed some wolfs were spirits of the forest or the fallen ones). Also commanding element was part of the celtic tradition it was done 3 moons before Samhain.
Xenthick: Really cool concepts for playthroughs. Keep em coming!
vtfootball13: Just watched your necromancer one!!

This is too good! Deff got my sub!
zarfen: What an interesting concept, really enjoyed the history lessons. I watched it all from beginning to end, keep up the good work!
cardiac9145: I would argue that if the forces of hell were storming the earth, there would be at least one warrior Druid that emerged to offer his assistance. Potentially even a whole sect of them. I have no issues with how you did this. Bending the definition of historically accurate in a world that's entirely devoid of historical accuracy is totally fair lol
RPGdreamer-666: Hum, an excellent concept with this same great touch of history, it is just extraordinary to see on youtube I'm subscribed ^^
Jannuslav: love it! dude, awesome work, for real. Entertaining, fun, informative and all that to our beloved D2. Hope to see more in the future.
Best wishes and thx a lot
ipsyc: Love these, keep them coming
raybilinski716: Awesome video! Would love to see an alchemist? Throwing potions and cube recipes?
michazuber1606: You had me for a moment describing Act 3 as the most liked one.
kardar233: This is really cool! One thing I’d love is if you attached a playlist of your music; I’m particularly curious what you have playing around the 17 minute mark
yodatrucker420: Just found your channel last night loving it. Dont forget act 3 merc has static and fire ball which work great for AOE for physical character
dankyjoker: As a local practicing druid, I feel seen and validated.
darkmord8119: Prehaps have next one be a historically acurate warlock? I mean, tbh, i dont really know, where that began, heard that word warlock comes from somewhere else, but still, id really like to see that.
    PapaIv1024: I like this.
I like the historical lore and the unique spin on challenges.
