Diablo 2 But I am a Historically Accurate Assassin....May 22 2026
moogleking: I like the lore section you add to these challenge runs it adds to the immersion
oathkeeperofoblivion972: Can't wait for the historically accurate barbarian to just be a normal barbarian build except it ignores the shout tree
Frippyfrap1: literally forgot i was watching a Diablo 2 video for a few minutes in the beginning haha
Bronzescorpion: Jehryn doesn't allow mercenaries within the palace, Greiz literally tells us as soon as we meet him, that the local town guards are the one in the palace. The mercenaries are defending the city.
Linkforlife199: According to the rules, I would have said killing the lesser maggots in the maggot lair would be deemed as necessary since they are literally in your way, same goes with the arcane sanctuary.
Only 3 left: Sorceress, Barbarian and Amazon.
sergionascimento5365: complet all quests, is the assassin job!
powerplay9422: If there is no other way in, an assassin would have to merc people in the way of his objective. If there IS another way in, they will take that route instead.
A cramped cave where there is only one path to your HVT would qualify the 'trash mobs' as obstructions against your target, and must be 'deleted'.
Deailon: For once, the historic part makes me think more, than builds. I come from a Central European country that took part in Crusades, but did not incorporated the "assasin" word into the language (we have our own word that translates to "secret killer"). That makes the historical connotations of assasins completely different here (many local Medieval and Renaissance examples exist). It was an interesting experience in cultural differences between English speakers and my nation.
darthplagueis13: The historically accurate barbarian wondering why all the other classes keep complaining about these runs (his restriction is not being allowed to speak Greek or Latin)...
Tletna: While swords were better for killing and daggers were better for concealment, push daggers (katars) were used by assassins. So, so long as you used katars and not claw weapons you'd still be historically accurate by the way. Yeah, there are parts of the game the Assassin can do no problem and then other parts where without very good gear, traps or magic skills she really cannot do much. Avoiding enemies is like anti-Diablo-esque. Oh well. At least, with the exception of Duriel and Baal with twin the assassin does a good job killing bosses. That's on theme.
travelingexile: One question, if a historically accurate assassin was attacked first, wouldn’t they then kill the attacker as they feared for their own life? I think all mobs that make the first move are fair game here.
CthulhuianBunny: Are you eventually going to make a “historically accurate” werewolf run, using the “confessions” from medieval werewolf trials as the basis for the restrictions?
raphaelantoine7331: you suffer a lot for viewership with those rules ahhaha
ipsyc: Yes more historically accurate!!!
I have been waiting for this one in particular evers since I found out about these
GodsSinner: Love the lore! Also any of the shamans in act one, the most of the casters in 3, and the lashers in the final act should all be fair game.
melodywhispersong9541: 3:08 Hearing the 3DS settings menu music is nostalgic.
zergolicious666: great algorithm drop
carlosdavidg7: Absolute pain
yankozlatanov: Good, now you have nightmare and hell to beat GLHF !
creevey82: How you don't have 50k subs yet is beyond me.
Arivia1: 5:13 Wayne Reynolds art spotted!
DraconiusDragora: Fun historical fact: Katars, were used by Assassins, it was not a common weapon however. It acted more as a status symbol than a weapon.
So historically you could have used the Katars (Punch Daggers) for the build.
richardmccown1658: Ah yes. Content for tomorrow's commute
XfStef: Corpsefire farming simulator
Imetalman2000: Historical accurate Diablo, is just people fighting their inner demons.
TheMadFlasher: 18:01 clever girl.
rickghastly1511: I've watched a few of these but I think this is the first time I'm noticing "Vigil" from Mass Effect playing underneath the history portion.
