Morninglightwga: Excellent video Professor thank you! The concept is that the holy fire aura aggros the enemies. The idea is if Merc equips brand and dragon, the dragon makes the Merc get hit more often, so will proc amp more often.
JustStandingHere...: That Dragon Armour on the Rogue mercenary made me think if it is possible to make her pierce fire Immunes. You could combine it with a Hand of Justice bow for a total of level 30 Holy Fire aura, which would be 400-500 fire damage added to her exploding arrows. Hand of Justice also comes with that -20 fire resistance modifier, so combine that with a three socketed helm with two Fire Facets and a Defender's Fire. Therefore, she could have a total of -40 to enemy fire resistances. Then if you come rocking in with an Infinity, is it enough for her to pierce enemy fire immunities? If not, do you need to come with an "Avenger Paladin" with its maxed out conviction aura. And as for other things to test, should you drop the Hand of Justice bow for anything with 100% pierce such as Mist or the Buriza? Wisdom helmet could give the merc 33% piercing attack, but I think the one with the "Fire Jewels" would still be superior choice. Because when she fires that Exploding arrow, you want it to go: boom-boom-boom, through the monsters.

yasai22: Act 1 works best with summons, since the meat shields prevent monsters from going to her she will shoot continuously while the act 2 will walk from target to target. With pierce she can clear packs easily ... Plus since she barely get hit you can put a leftover dream with a bad roll not needing leech helm ...

jprec5174: I put Hustle armor on all my mercs because the faster run walk makes the moments when they run and reposition take less time. tbh it's probably the best merc armor since the mercs are so stoopid.

brandonhines9589: If you’re talking style points, you should try the zeal mage. It’s painfully slow, yet strong. I did that it the original D2, back in the day when I wanted to try out everything imaginable, but with my build, I used a fortitude armor, and 1 pt in teleport. Typical merc build for the style
