I Build a Diablo 2 Diorama... On a CD

  • I Build a Diablo 2 Diorama... On a CD Jun 20 2025

Rogolom510: Now we need the campfire szene of the intro screen.
zazzenfuk: Diablo 2 was my crippling addiction. I skipped school and work to play it back in high-school days. I remember when the expansion came out it blew my mind. Playing the druid; grinding gems and talismens. Finally I settled on my barbarian Bul-Kathos who I maxed out to duel wield The Grandfather blade x2. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. The hours I spent in that world were some of my fondest memories on a pc.
saml6798: He hath returned, the goat sacrifices worked
SHMaXeR: dude this is art :O dont know how you do that
Frostuliaq: Our diorama Messiah returned! Praise the LORD ! :D
ZaxitarsMiniatureLegends: Wonderful! It's always inspiring to see how you use your memories of gaming to build such creative projects. Thanks for sharing!

I did wince when you took the sandpaper to that CD but the result was worth it!
rushthewash: It is! It's diablo!!! Let's goooo!
PigeonCrash: Best content on youtube. I love your game dioramas so much.
KevinCarlino: I stayed a while and listened.
    KimHarderFog: RAKANISHU!
    schatzkammerein: Legendary! love your diorama
    Itsjumbomuffin: OOOOH YEEEEH D: first!
    daem0nfaust: woah! This is awesome
Paintedfigs: Fantastic piece of work and some brilliant, no-short-cuts painting!
Hawk_R6: really cool project (as alawys) even if nobody will see the CD you still know it is there...
hobbyhoarderspodcast4059: What a neat idea using a CD, all mine are now looking scared in their boxes
TheBasicBrush: I loved this game growing up!! Are you teasing us with a new series?
nakenmil: Wooooh! One of my absolute favorite games of all time! There is something so relentlessly grim and menacing about the whole feel and atmosphere of that game. I remember it was about as close as I dared to go to horror games as a kid, haha! You really did it justice. The dark tones of the road, grass and trees capture that windswept, newly-rain-covered, cold damp air feel of the first act.

Now, far be it for me to demand anything, but I'll say this: if you ever do a Heroes of Might & Magic diorama, I'll die a happy man.
    CCMinis: SICK!
DafyddRoche: just a thought - get some silinot mould making silicone (works with 3d printed stuff wonderufll) and make a mold of those fireballs. you can then use regular resin, tint is when you make it, and make fireballs from now until eternity.
    davexerg: He's baaaack!!
    Zumikito: Fantastic video!
FloppyCraft3001: RIP Steve, we will never forget you
TheHobbyGrotto: Always such amazing inspired projects! Loved the end result, I might actually have to break out the Diablo after this!
ChunkyShartSpray: AWESOOOOME, D2 is such an iconic game. Love this tribute!
D3Z3R7: The fallen are particularly amazing. Contrast is integral to the D2 aesthetic and you reflected that very very well in them. Great call on the flesh paint over the amazon's gold as well.
