I played the ES Warlock After the Nerf and Its....... Diablo 2 Resurrected

maximos905: They need to either make it a caster ability or an attack ability. I dont like how they are making it a hybrid ability that uses FCR but also uses leech and durability but doesnt proc crushing blow. So dumb
mauriceb2037: You should try comparing damage while leveling these same characters (and without any high end runeword). I am quite sure you will absolutely not like ES warlock damage.
Firelock, despite its nerf, is a much better choice.
Hammerdin with low gear is MUCH stronger the ES warlock with low gear.

Also, as a HC player, i would hate the build they gave us, enigma is a great armor, but even with all the small charms resists are not ok for hell, i would rather have fortitude or vipermagi.
As for weapon, Obediance is probably the first thing anyone will make, or maybe Oath, but certainly not BOTD

I really hope they reverse the lethargy changes and the curse changes, and I’d be happy with the rest
MassacrationApavora: why don’t YouTubers test the nerf on a character that has just finished Hell Ball and then try some Tz? always have enigma and insane weapon. my guess... it will not be effective, probably die... imagine in a hardcore char
hatohato8649: If you keep fighting the Herald of Terror as a Hammerdin, you’ll see that it’s an extremely tough battle.
He is very vulnerable against enemies he can’t just power through.
As you can probably tell from the fact that no one takes a Hammerdin to Ubers.

Pruflas-Watts: FOH hammers hybrid is gonna be my forever season starter go to. It's just so satisfying to nuke chaos and do most content with minimal gear and not feel the need to rush start a sorc and do endless boss farming to spec my character.

eweng903: 124% FCR (near gear miss) might be a developer joke? There was a debate in the D2R community about whether 75% FCR was better for Warlock running gear like Arioc's Needle.

JohanCardel: Agree on your points. I played the warlock for a while, tested several builds, minions, echo strike, etc. It was way too strong, and it was easy to not be interested in upgrading more, since the damage was already too insane.

oopomopoo: 5:03 this is one of those times it's always interesting hearing streamers perspectives. I think a fun thing to do leading up to next season when d2 ramps up is to put out a few YouTube surveys asking how far people get in the game . Normal / nightmare, hell, completed hell, 100.

What level gear do you get, mid gear (nightmare), early hell gear, sojs / gryphons and such.

10 high runes is so far out of any budget I've ever had but I also acknowledge I only play a week or two. Would he a fun survey to see where the community is leading up to ladder start

rgracon: I was fine with it how it was before, but I also think the changes are probably pretty good in the big picture. I would definitely revert to allowing ethereal weapons, and I think a slight walk back on demon mastery and bind demon, though I don’t know exactly how so.
