hoodedman6579: I like the Diablo 1 durability marginally more because, in that game, broken items are truly broken; you let it break and it goes away forever. It’s very mean but you probably will lose one item to it ever if that, especially due to how saving works in that game. Regardless, it doesn’t really change much, durability in that game is still mostly a chore like in D2, and I’m glad D2 doesn’t do that; it fits with D1 well, but it would just be bad in D2.
