ArmyOfVenus: I'm doing a one and done challenge where you beat the game from normal to hell on each class but each time I use a unique or set or runeword on a specific class, I'm not allowed to use it ever again in the run on another class (so if I use stealth on my sorc, no other class will be allowed to use stealth ever!)
paym4n: Offline hits the spot for me. Turns D2R into my "always" game. When I aint got other things to play or do I can always hop on and grind. Farmed my first ever SSF enigma and that felt so good.

see ez. I remember hell of the stuff. cube recepies for crafted items I dont remember, but socketing, reroll rare diadems, runewords. Ez. Sets, uniques also ez.

Shortcuts like nihlathak farming, countess, andy, meph, worm, baal, saving anya. I do those fast because I know the map patterns.
SlyDog_Tristan: Good list, id add getting crafting packs together for yourself and rolling them (blood gloves, blood rings, caster boots, etc) amd maybe even charm re rolling as kind of fun side quest

It's ok for games to have an actual end for closure, rather than burning you out trying to squeeze every little drop of dopamine out of you...
You end on a good note rather than it slowly declining into mediocracy because that's how you end up remembering the game...

Gripmaster3000: It's been like this for years. They won't scale games to at least 3 person difficulty. it would be a choice for the maker of the game, but then you'd only need 4-5 more people to join to get max xp etc. simple fixes just they dont do.. but allow bots, 3rd party $$$$ etc
colinprevatt9439: Something fun to do while farming would be ro go through the game to each farming location and while timing your run challenge yourself to to break your record times at each location.

ilikeanimeverymuch: I think huge problem is that game starts becoming more like diablo 3. Also warlock is not properly balanced with their ability to wield 2h weapon in 1 hand for just the cost of not being able to use regular shield which feels more OP than any special ability of.any character.

WhereAreTheSquarePants: I fallback to slow run, the opposite of speed running.Just create a new toon, level 1, name it Fearful Stan and Stay in town... Never leave the town For me is just the music and atmosphere.

jf367: These days, I actually really enjoy the "all 96tz" games. You generally still play on your own in these games, but with much increased challenging monsters, so it's like playing P8 single player games. However if you prefer to chat with people, players in these games are usually high-levels with some knowledge of the game, so you don't feel like talking to idiots. Some of them do like to brag about their gears, or 20 years of d2 experience, but I mean, this is D2 after all. And when someone accidentally dies in these games, multiple people will jump in to help retrieve the body, and that always brings me a smile.
