tacodive7063: For me the biggest issue about sunders is it feels like heralds are designed around the warlock.
Playing single player and i have a amazon with enigma, infinity, griffons and a light sunder from Lod. But p8 heralds still feel near impossible to kill if they spawned light immune. Yet my warlock wearing enigma and anything i want as a weapon basically 2 shots them. So the only way to realistically farm sunders (even getting past the horrible drop rate) is to play a warlock.
lordganondorf5960: i hate the sunder charm farming. before i could play every char with every element they had to offer. now im back to skipping enemies or playing a mod, because i was not able to farm a sunder charm in 100h and im done now.
lennyghoul: "Just play with friends!" what is this friends thing you speak of?
LibHen1998: I burned a week of vacation to play this season. I had some extra rollover time aside from my wife, and it was a fun opportunity I don't get usually to just devote a week to D2. Great! - I played roughly 12 hours a day including meal breaks, etc. I took care of myself :) I probably averaged 10 hours in game - so roughly 70 hours of playtime. SEVENTY HOURS... Not a single sunder charm. For contrast/clarity, during the same 70 hours, I got: SOJ, Windforce, Darkforce Spawn, 2x Steelrend, 2x Mang Song's, 2x Arioc, Wisp Projector, 2x Ravenfrost, Torch of Iro, and 2x Unique Sacred Armor drops (no Tyrael's). Mathmatically, that makes the sunders off the charts rare. I stopped counting, but I think I killed over 400 HOT. This should be hard proof that casual gamers (less than 4 hours a day let's say) will NEVER see a latent sunder unless they trade for/buy one. D2 has always been about being able to get something if you are patient and just play the game, casual or not. That's just bad mechanics...@Mrllama, we just hope you'll exert your influence yet again to try to make this more balanced for ALL players, not just the ones who can stream for a living, or who are independently wealthy and can play all hours they want. Thanks for the tldr.
Drose811: The biggest issue for me is creating a system where one 5hr play session has a greater chance to get a sunder charm than ten 1-2hr play sessions.

A lot of people can only commit 1-2hrs at a time and then they have to go do other things.

I don't mind the drop chance being extremely low, just make it consistent.
ghostpos: I knew you were gunna go nuts when Phil agreed with Andy nerf
emmarawrfase: “Just play with friends” is hilarious from a streamer that has endless p8 opportunities
I think I’ve made like four organic friendships in d2r because community doesn’t really exist where I am.
BalintKovacs-tw4iq: The problem with the drop rate is, that I have leveled up one 99 and one 97 character in single player exclusively from full 5act terrorized games, p8, killing everything, 13-20 heralds/game, and got no sunder. Considering that a Magic Sunder has like 3% chance to roll when a sunder drops, completing the chronicle is nearly impossible. What was the idea? In single player I level up 20 lvl 99 characters until I finish, or what?

I saw calculations, which shows that in SP with 4200mf, p8 you have a chance to get one Sunder per 4 full terrorized game runs killing everything. That is a bit too much no? Who has that kind of time? Imo the drop rate should be 10x.
ExpensiveButter: The thing is, after a 50h week of work, you want to play a little D2R and getting a sunder charm become impossible in my ±4h-12h of week-end grind time.
Asrudin: 9:27, make terror zones begin every half hour, but make them last 40 or maybe 45 minutes (because 40 irks me :P ) so there is a short overlap where two zones are terrorized. Solved.
socasack: What if the terror zones overlapped for 15 mins... have 2 active at the same time that are overlapping for only 15 mins?
chungusprime5660: Warlock was a blast to play and just mindlessly dunk on the game after years of playing stuff like werebear and spearzon but it is legitimately insane how the class can just access the cream of the crop of other classes and get access to stuff like amp damage, corpse explosion, conviction aura, utilize big weapons better than the barb (and never mind how stupid tanky the bound demon is) with minimal point investment. Also kinda felt like a weird salt in the wound moment that it has what is effectively a poison spec but because poison is a jank damage type they just made it magic (and it even has built in CC with abyss).
mohdazrilzakaria9947: I just want in the next patch, the monster density to be improved, especially in act 1. playing act 1 terror zone is terrible.
damianwarner4876: Pretty sure no one ever said they love the new sunder charm drop rate
Hunubul1: "Just play with friends..." not everyone has friends willing to play D2...
-41337: It blows my mind how much the Warlocks OPness is downplayed by talking heads.
MikeyStreet314: Phil is pretty spot on here. I just pray they don’t buff the other characters to the level of Warlock. Also I’m a “don’t change anything” type player myself because usually …. (Mosaic) the changes suck
aaronlol-j77: i actually think sweetphil has good criticism -- also I feel like we should keep pushing warlock to be balanced so it doesn't end up never fixed like a mosaic assassin.
Snaxophone: “Just play with friends” is a lot easier to say when you have a hundred people that will happily join a game with you
Rogal85: the one thing I can agree on is that Terror zones are very unequa in terms of time you need to finish them and that would be great to work on. Like Travincal is 5 minutes, where whole catacoms can be 15-20 minutes easily. I would like each terror zone to take me this 30 minutes, without a need to change game and loose the option for Tier 5 herald
druvasinanan1509: Phil on 1.25 needs to drink less coffee
gborgesbardi: The p8 thing "go play with your friends". It's not really true, ppl want to do different farms, have different free time play, schedule and most of all. This is not early 2000s back when you easily friend some stranger for interacting in game. If you really like to play on p8 difficult, the best way is to buy 8 accounts.
About the TZ rotation, shards don't solve it too. For example if there's a tranvical tz, that's the only way to farm multiple council without poping a lot of shards and wasting most of it's content.
edinburghkairos321: Nerfing the fun is always a good idea. Most people can only play around 4 hrs a week, so having a character that lets you experience the whole game is nice. Good luck
Meilk27: My two favorite Diablo creators collaborating awesome
punec: Immunities are just such a cool feature in D2. Kinda makes the game world feel more real. Like of course the flame spewing red skinned demon from hell would be immune to fire, or a literal ice monster be immune to cold, or a ghost be immune to physically being hit. Getting around those immunities is one of the things that makes D2 fun. For me at least
SonAlexander: So, there is definetly something up with Herald spawns. Like they have background restrictions put in place.

Last night, Tombs popped as TZ and i spawned 5 ire’s in that hour. So i used an act 1 shard to keep the momentum going. By the end of act 1 i spawned 8 total.

By the end i spawned 1 more ire, so i hopped to the next zone. Killed the herald and wanted to keep the momentum going, so i used an act 3 shard. I got 3 more heralds within the first 2 zones, then, never got another ire for the remainder of the zone, so 8 zones and dungeons, including Durance lvls 1-3 with nothing.

I also jumped out and did all other TZs that popped, which were Cows, River of Flame, Glacial Trail, and Harem/Arcane Sanc…

So keep in mind that was like 11 heralds, on Solo bnet, within the first hour, then an additional 2.5 hours in the same game with NO SPAWNS.

I have seen this same thing enough times to think they put restrictions on the spawns after a certain amount of spawns.
    MaxeytheRogue: Suggestion for bind demon
have the level of the auras of the demon you bind be directly affected by the hard points put into the bind demon skill.
(If conviction aura of monster is 10, but bind demon only has 1 hard point = conviction aura would be lowered to lvl 1.)

Also bind undead, tame beast, and maybe moving the fire golem(necro) over to the sorc as a Summon elemental skill... would be great. (AND PLEASE GIVE US A TARGET ENEMY SKILL WITH OUR SUMMONS... ya know like death mark)
