Saljen: I think that the new best weapon is eth Tomb Reaver with Zod Lo Lo. Does 186-855 base damage, 50 all res, 80 mf, etc. Eth Hone Sundan with Protector Stone Lo Lo is pretty close in damage, but doesn't have the extra bonuses. Obsession is still just as good as it was, though now you have to use a book. Obviously eBOTD is still an option, and you can just put a Zod in eth Ariok's Needle.
benjamincraypo9454: I don't mind the nerfs to echoing strike, I'm still going to be using it. Super excited about sunder changes, they're supposed to about as common as gheeds now and heralds will actually be worth farming now.

I think I'd like to see more balances come to uniques and sets and i wouldne even mind some nerfs to some of runewords. Uniques and full sets need to be made them more playable for diversified builds

halfspeaker: found a grandfather about a month ago. wouldn't be sad if this ended up being one of the best weapons. I'm scared it will get nerfed enough to not make it fun for me as a dad gamer to enjoy. May switch back to hdin, or make a nova sorc.

TrustworthyFella: I have been playing SSF with three different warlocks casually, the Echoing strike one was off ladder and is already done with the story and comfy in Hell: i happened to find a Messerschmidt's Reaver and that absolutely rocks - it also comes with 100% bonus to attack rating:)

I am only lvl 87 on that guy, and deffo can improve the build further but it was pretty easy like this..Maybe you should try it? :)
Before i found the axe i just used Wizardspike, which also was great, especially the res and cast rate...And before that i found Baranar's Star. That one has 200% bonus to att. rating...all really cool weapons for the ES build!
nonehc: I really like the change of the warlock because Diablo 2 always feels challenging compared to modern Games (Diablo 3 or Diablo 4). These Changes will bring the S Tier Class down to the other Class Power.
SamLesante2: I was preparing for this nerf and grinding with ES warlock ad nauseum, trying to find as many ultra rare uniques as I could. It was strong enough to make playing any other class a legit waste of time. ES warlock allowed me to completely gear up a Nova sorc, poison necro, and javazon, but I am ready for some variety.

sosocrazy1234: Echoing strike didnt always hit. It just has 5 chances per blade back and forth so it seems like its always hitting. At lv 90ish, my chance to hit was 61%. If you throw 5 items with 61% chance, you gonna hit. Not to mention you can turn on missed hit indicator in setting and see that it does indeed miss... just slap on some AR items and youll also notice a difference.

jeffreymakuch2493: Love your stuff, you know I comment all the time. I strongly disagree with 'buff everything else to Warlock power' though, certainly some other things could be tweaked a bit up or down but nothing major. That's just power creep and how you end up with D3 millions of damage or D4 trillions. D2 should not degrade into a 'modern' aRPG in that way, it's what makes it special. I'm sure there will be further tuning needed for the Warlock but you know damn well he was broken af. Mosaic was in the game for way too long (they only removed it from ladder), everyone knew it was busted, that is the Warlock right now as well...both are well out of line for D2.

All have similar clear speeds when pushed to the max the builds can do.
Hammerdin has been insane ever since blessed hammer got synergies and that got a 3.2x EDPS boost due to new items.
jamesmathis5726: I just don’t get why Mosaic sin is still in her state if they want to nerf things that are too powerful. She is still exponentially stronger than even current warlock.
