wizrom3046: Hydra sorc is my favorite build.
The ONE thing that nobody does right, is to have glacial spike always on left click. Put about 15% of your points into glacial spike, and by the time you have some general skills added, your glacial spike freezes monsters for about 5 seconds.
This makes the hydra sorc godly, especially with the infinity merc. Just about every monster that is fire resistant (or totally immune) can be frozen.
And of course, any frozen monsters cant move, so the hydras will hit them and the monsters behind.
So any mobs that rush you, you freeze the front guys and plop down a couple of hydras then just pick up the loot.
I have been playing that build for years, and it is even better with your lvl 44 holy fire aura because once you freeze some of the front runners, by the time the monsters behind them finally walk around they have been splattered by the aura or hydras or merc.
The 5 second freeze is also fantastic to keep merc alive

I used to run a bliz/hydra hybrid, cuz my sorc kinda sucked. Offline, no help except from a weak merc who died often. I had bad gear. So I learned that offline you can infinitely respec for free. I tried different stuff. And without a sunder, mixing bliz and hydra was GREAT.

Slow compared to other builds, sure, but the security was killer. I could engage and even kill things off screen - just plop down the hydras at the edge and they start shooting. You can even bliz stuff off screen. I learned to plop down hydras and a bliz asap and TP the heck away - which kept my merc alive. My merc mostly became a source of mana and heal for me (cure and insight and so on). And hydras could kill cold immunes. And bliz plus that snowball shooting dd spell, if safe enough to get line of sight, was okay.

So again, not as fast as other builds. But considering I wasn't dying so often - and merc wasn't dying so often - it was great. And I sucked at TPing past things. And sometimes you can't TP past stuff, you must kill it. And it has immunes.

Anyway, check out a demon machine build w a fire sorc and some of this gear maybe. Who knows. It might be awesome.
sepg5084: Sunder charms are less game breaking than Enigma and Mosaic.

If you've already built the character with fire skills, might as well give it fireball and its synergies.
Dreamonology: I think sunders are balanced, I see a lot of people using them wrong, they are only worth it if you have enough -res gear, other wise even with sunder immunity broke, if you don't have the perfect -res gear your not doing any dmg after the immunity is broke anyway. early on a new battle net ladder, I don't even bother with sunders till late late late game.
MattLaine-k2b: It seems like the Holy Fire Paladin is much better aura-wise. I never really knew how though. The holy fire level is the same, and I think paladin gets a synergy for holy fire and infinity. I'd think the fire mastery would make a bigger difference though.
MrVonThoma1: What if you did an act 5 merc with two hand of justice plus dragon armor and flickering flame so that your sorceress could just do cold or lightning damage? The act 5 merc with frenzy is going to hit way faster and way more often, you can just let him do the work.

May I suggest a Necro summoner with the auras, conviction and a bunch of caster revives and skeleton mages? talk about autonomy. And wheres your call to arms runeword mane. Few videos ive seen now and you dont use it

fmswatchdo2373: Not viable for keys, etc. Cure is crappy with only 1 to the skill. You ain't old enough to be a real boomer. Hydra looks slow and boring.
