xtwytchx1872: 40/15 max jewels should put the bow damage at 115-170, if the merc is overriding your amp on bosses use cats eye for the run and attack speed to make the belt razortail for the pierce and max damage roll to make pierce skill a 1 point wonder dual leech rings aren't too difficult to get to be considered budget unless u want super godly stuff

JustStandingHere...: I use Witchwild string on my Battlenet Bowazon in D2R. I have two Shael runes on the bow, and 10 IAS from crafted gloves with knockback on them. Therefore, my character is actually short of six points of IAS from that 56 breakpoint. The armor I have is Duress because it is cheap, and the boots are Goblin Toes, and the helmet and amulet are just random stuff I picked up that offer resistances and some plus skills. My mercenary is using Insight for the infinite mana. I have a physical Sunder in my inventory on top of Anni and Torch. I maxed out Valkyrie before Penetrate, so when it comes taking out Diablo, I can just summon the Valk and Decoy and the merc tends to stay alive. Players one Chaos Sanctuary terror zone was no problem. It really is the knockback effect that makes the Strafe build shine, because it can just stun lock enemies in one place, so that it doesn't matter if they take less damage. With Might aura on, I think my character sheet only lists 1k-1,5k as my Strafe damage, and it still kills, because it doubles with my 100% Deadly Strike, and then that probably "doubles" yet again whenever the Amplify Damage gets activated.

Therefore, I think your character will make do even without the Ohm runes, because that just means that monsters get triggered by Amplify Damage more often, which brings up your damage numbers up.

But when it comes to builds, I think you should try to see if Strafe is really capped at 56 IAS. It was in Diablo 2, but with the werewolf changes done in D2R the new IAS calculators seem to continue the Strafe IAS progression all the way to 113. So, slap two Shael Runes on the bow, wear Treachery, and you are at 85 IAS. With 20 from gloves, and 10 from your belt and another 10 from Highlord's Amulet, you should be at 125 IAS. Does it attack faster? Or is still stuck at the same speed as with 56 IAS?
