Squeebop: Warlock needed a nerf badly. But they gutted this class. Back to playing all the other classes unless they fix some of these changes. I understand that's what PTR is for, but my goodness they killed it.

tealwombat: I'm not upset they're nerfing it, but this feels like an overcorrection. Maybe that's wrong, but I think this will not be a top tier spec anymore, and that's sad to me. It's fun and required really different gearing from anything previous. I hope PTR feedback can influence this, but I'm hearing that generally they don't walk back planned nerfs, even after PTR feedback.

Don't have a problem with any nerf in particular, although weapons using durability could really hurt people who paid top dollar for eth Thunder Mauls and Ariocs, I just want them to give something back to ES if its not doing enough after these changes. Start with allowing procs, including CB, which could work like on ranged skills.

WhatIfTheories: The Lethargy change is brutal because Goat summoner really needed this to work. It already wasn't crazy because you only have 3 Goats and they also capped their attack speed. So now I can't break immune with my tiny army that attacks slower. Might not be possible to play a Lock Goat summoner now. Definitely can't have fun leveling as one. Gonna have to farm on another character first which is annoying.

Eagle_SFM: I think the build won't be good anymore but time will tell. My calculations i had the build at about 8% dmg but like you said it's impossible to know yet. The build is already high APM, awkward AOE, and requires multiple prebuffs and debuffs. So i don't anticipate myself going through all of that trouble lol

The wild cards will be how survivable you and the demon are and how much AR investment is truly needed. Those gear choices can further reduce the damage.

We will now have to work hard to make that thing work well, if not right after this PTR/patch change, then probably with a near future one. Make the Warlock hard to play, thus interesting.
