Introduction
Hey, what's up fellas and ladies--this is my version of a Tesladin/Dreamadin + Avenger + Zealer + Smiter + BEAST MODE
This was just a theory character that I've been contemplating and with advice from some of you, I've put together Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
This is my 3rd Bear-related character, my first was a Bear Sorc (Ursa-LA) http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=76586664&f=87 and the 2nd was a Bear Necro based off of Sara's CtC Bone Bear http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=40470979
and this idea for a Beardin was actually given by one of the dude's who was commenting on my Bear Sorc (Ursa-LA) --sorry I forget your name brother, damn inbox is not large enough.
I'd have to say this is by far the tankiest build of the 3 Bear Characters and is pretty fun, however, this character can get a little pricy due to optimization of game play.
Enough ranting, I hope you enjoy this read--and I inspire you to build a new character to spice up this nearly 20 year old game.
Essential Gear
Dream Helmet (Whatever you'd like)
Dream Shield(Whatever you'd like although I'd recommend a 45 Resist Sacred Targe for basic reasons)
Grief PB 39+IAS(39+IAS because this + 20IAS from Highlord's = G_G ALL around breakpoints (Zeal, Smite, Vengeance, Charge, Normal Attack-Bear Mode)
Raven Frost CBF and we cannot Cham anything really unless you a mad man (or woman).
Paladin Torch + Anni Plus skillz do not come easy for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Nonessential Gear
For the following items choose one or rotate, for example I use Dragon Armor but keep Enigma in stash for FRW + teleport
Dragon Armor (I use this + Resist Fire for more damage but you can use whatever you'd like--this build is highly versatile)
Chains of Honor(All around powerhouse item--best general armor to be using)
Enigma (I use this for the FRW mostly, especially in Bear mode + teleport on switch with spirit when messing around/rushing/getting somewhere)
If you're going PvP eth Shaft works well too.
15 DR Dungo's or 15 DR String of Ears is your best bet, T Gods if you want works as well -- but by all means use whatever you'd like and build it how you'd like--once again this is a very versatile build and is about having fun so don't stress if your item is off by a few percentages or whatever.
For gloves I highly recommend Dracul's for the Lifetap -- if you're trying to go the GM route/PvP 20IAS CB gloveswork and then you don't need Highlords anymore and can switch to Angelic Combo setup with Rfrost
Guess what the best boots would be? Starts with a G ends with a Riders. but change to whatever depending on situation/personal use. Aldur'sis great for the FRW/Life/Res on a budget.
Jewelry wise I'd opt for aHighlord'sbut you can choose whatever just make sure you get 20 IAS from something after the 39IAS Grief PB is equipped.
I also like Carrion Wind for it's LL, Psn Resist, Defense, and the CtC Twister which is a mini-stun every time it procs.
CtA / Pally Spirit
As for charms I have a combination of Max Dmg/AR/FRW/Resist charms-- if you rich get them 3/3/20's!! lol
Waheed the Magnificent
Act 2 Nightmare Defensive Mercenary
I'll give a couple combinations but this 1st one is the best due to your Conviction Aura always being on.
#1
Weapon: Destruction CA (Holy sh*t, this thing really makes the build come together --fireworks all over the place and it's actually doing damage)
Armor: Treachery (45IAS, Fade, Cold Res)
Helm: Gaze/Andy/Crown of Thieves/Whatever (I Like Gaze for it's DR)
#2
Weapon: Pride
Armor: Fort / Treachery
Helm: Gaze/Andy/Crown of Thieves/Whatever (I Like Gaze for it's DR)
Stats
Str: Enough for gear
Dex: Enough for Max Block
Vita: Rest into this
Energy: just kidding forget what I said put everything in here...lol
Skillz
You can do this many different ways but I chose to be more Aura based.
20 Resist Lightning
15 Salvation
5 Resist Fire
Enough Holy Shield points until it starts depreciating bad (16 or 17 points I believe after gear)
Enough so Zeal is hitting at least 5 targets (5 or 6 points I believe after gear)
Enough so Conviction is at level 25 after gear (don't count battle command from CtA as it wears off)
At least level 10-15 Vengeance after gear is on
Rest of your points will go into Resist Fire, Salvation, Holy Shield, Defiance, Zeal, Vengeance... lol whatever you'd like really
Breakpointz
You want to hit the following breakpointz:
48 FHR, 55 FHR, or 86 FHR
59+IAS (39 will be coming from Grief and 20 from Highlord's or whatever you want)
Try to hit 60 - 90% FRW
Conclusion
I was initially just trying to make a Tesladin/Avenger but after I built it I remembered what the broseph on JSP said and I started to keep Beast in my cube so whenever I need to go Beast I would pull out the Beast and then I would be Beast...or we would be Beast?
Hope this was a good read, if there is something off please say something and thanks to everyone who inspired me to build this. I am not the first to make a Tesladin or Avenger or Zealer or Smiter, I just revamped it.
Oh if you don't know here's how to hotkey the skills
F1 = Vengeance
F2 = Charge
F3 = Smite
F4 = Zeal
F5 = Conviction
F6 = Sanctuary
F7 = BC
F8 = BO
F9 = HS
F10 = BEAST MODE
