Infinity is a powerful runeword in D2R, and its rune embedding order is 30+23+30+24.
The base material requires a 4-hole white/grey long-handled weapon. The more commonly used base materials are long-handled weapons such as the Great Long Axe, Mystic Axe, Giant God Axe, and Shark Tail Axe. Among them, the Great Long Axe has higher damage; the Shark Tail Axe has the fastest attack speed; if the electric magician holds it, the base material with the lowest attribute requirements such as the hook sickle gun and sickle should be selected.
Infinity can give the wearer a level 12 Faith Aura, the main effect is to reduce the ice, fire, and electricity resistance of non-element immune monsters by 85 points, and the effect on specific element immune monsters is only 20% (for example, for electric immune monsters, the electric resistance is reduced by only 17 points), so it is a weapon common to both magic and physical gameplay.
It is often used as a second-act mercenary weapon or held by a character (such as the sickle girl). It should be noted that the passive resistance reduction attribute of the mercenary-specific Infinity is invalid for game characters (that is, the -55% enemy resistance is invalid for game characters). Therefore, when a mercenary uses it, the enhanced damage attribute variable is mainly used, while when a character holds Infinity, the passive resistance reduction variable is mainly used.
It has a great improvement on many gameplays and is one of the weapons worth making in the middle and late stages. Characters suitable for matching with Infinity include:
Electric magic: Use Faith Aura to reduce monster resistance and increase electrical spell damage.
Some physical characters: such as melee physical professions or characters using long-range physical attacks, can use their enhanced damage attribute and the resistance reduction effect brought by Faith Aura to improve output capabilities.
