potatolauncher4892: The Assassin's Cloak of Shadows is clutch. If you get into an area with mobs like the Black Souls or Moon Lords, you can hit them with Cloak of Shadows and they will stop attacking.

wizrom3046: Support Druid should max out Oak sage, gives the whole party a big life boost. Having huge life can be better than max resists or high defense.
A great support character is a Paladin with max smite and max conviction. The smite will give about a 6 second (or more) stun length, so you can handle the front line with ease while the conviction lets the sorcs and bows etc do their thing. Then turn redemption on every now and then to clear corpses especially when they revive, like fallen camps.
If the necro is helping sorcs, dont forget bone prison. It can lock down some dangerous monster packs and make them totally trapped and helpless, you dont use it all the time but sometimes it really makes the difference like boss packs, chaos sanc etc.
Also, the support nec is best with a maxed clay golem/golem mastery . It has a life about 20k and is virtually unkillable, and slows monsters and bosses about 65% or better.

blawdy-moo: Shout is also super important for buffing the team's defense. Too bad many support barbs forget to use it.
GizmosGameLounge: First few seasons I did the standard sorc then pally per season. Now I just pick one character and run it all season. S11 will probably be a necro again they are a jack of all trades and not super expensive to build.

johneubank8543: I wouldn't dump points into teleport. Mana potions are cheap and easy to use. A merc w insight plus spirit sword is easily gotten by hell.
Kinimondnet: Just want to point out, that using synergies to increase main skill damage often is the way to go on playthrough, because that does not increase the main skills mana cost!!
